Things will fall from left to right

High or low, at any height

Grab a marble, make it metal

And perhaps a stress ball that's mellow yellow

Now drop them both and watch them go

Which one hits first? Oh no one knows!

So this is the problem, the dilemma for you

To find a way of predicting the fall of ball one and ball two

Drop them, record them, then tell me what do you find

About dropping two objects at the very same time?

Object The objective of this lab is to find a way of prediction the order in which several objects, when dropped at the same time, will hit the ground.

Methods

In order to find how fast something would hit the ground when dropped in the air, we first had to incorporate what different factors came in to play when something was free falling in the air. We hypothesized that air resistance was one of the main reasons why one object might fall faster than another object. In order to test this we decided to test out what we knew in several separate steps.

1. Obtained nine different types of balls

. Measured the circumference of each ball with a piece of string and then measured the string and wrote down the data.

. Measured each ball on a scale to determine the mass of each ball (in grams).

4. Using the formula that is typically used to find circumference ( r), we worked backward to find the radius of each ball.

5. Using the information found in step four we used the formulas 4 r to find Surface Area, 4 r / to find Volume and D = M/V to find density for each ball.

6. After all the information was recorded into a data chart we used a stop watch to record how long it took each ball to drop to the floor from meters off the ground.

7. After recording this information we then analyzed our findings to come up with a suitable reason for why each ball fell at the rate that it did.

Data and Analysis

Explanation

Our results showed us that although each object dropped has a different mass, surface area, volume and even density, the rate at which they all fall is initially at the same rate, of an average of about .7 seconds for every meters. Also by taking in account the different sizes of surface area for each object we were able to determine which ball would fall slightly (.05 seconds or less) faster than another. Our final conclusion was that the larger the surface area of an object, the more air resistance there was and the slower the ball would fall.

Conclusion and Reflection

We learned that objects will fall at the same rate, unless their surfaces areas are extremely different; and in the case of the waif ball if there are holes in the object it will create a greater air resistance on the object. For those attempting to do this lab in the future, we suggest that you measure and drop your objects more than once so that you are sure that your information is accurate.

Japan is the world's second largest economy with a gross domestic product of roughly more than AU$5. trillion in 17.Japan's economy is larger than that of Germany, the United Kingdom and France combined. It is ten times the size of China and seventeen times the size of India. Japan represents almost three quarter of the entire Asian economy. Furthermore in 16, Japan's economy had the highest growth rate of .6% in the industrialised world. The Japanese economic pie grew at an annual rate of ten percent from the mid 150's until the Arab oil shocks of the early 70's. The Japanese then managed to maintain much more modest but steady growth rates until the early 10's.However, Japan's macroeconomic policy mismanagement deserves special attention, where in late 80's and early 0's, the Japanese government made two major macroeconomic policy mistakes. In 186 when, following the sharp decline in the price of oil, the Yen appreciated more than expected and economic growth slowed more than desired, the sole policy response was monetary stimulus. Although the policy succeeded in accelerating the economic growth, the problem is that the policy was continued for too long. That was considered to be the first macroeconomic mistake.

Essay service for your Analyse Japan's mis-management of the economy in the 1980-1990 period paper

The second mistake was not in easing the monetary policy and fiscal policy sooner and more forcefully in the early 0's.The authorities saw the downturn as primarily a business cycle. They underestimated both the cumulative effect of structural problems, and the long-lasting effects of the huge ongoing decline in the asset values.During most of the 180's,after achieving one of the highest economic growth rates in the industrialized world, the economy slowed considerable in the early 10's. Sinking stock and real estate prices marked the end of the "Bubble economy" of the late 180's. Moreover, over-investment and over-hiring in the late 180's forced many Japanese companies to undertake cost-cutting efforts in the 10's. As a consequence, many Japanese companies were encouraged to shift their production overseas in order to better service export markets. Order your Charlies Angels - Full Throttle paper at affordable prices!Charlies Angels - Full ThrottleReview Director McGWriter John August, Cormac Wibberley and Marianne WibberleyCast Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, Bernie Mac Length 105 minutesRating (PG-1)Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu reunite in Charlies Angels - Full Throttle, a sequel to the action-adventure-comedy hit, which was inspired by the popular television series. In their new adventure, the crime-fighting trio demonstrate their expertise as masters of disguise and martial arts as they go undercover to learn the identity of a rogue agent.I think Charlies Angels Full Throttle is more or less the same movie as the original Charlies Angels (000) but it still makes a good sequel. But what I discovered was that the sequel had much more special effects and much more over the top stunts compared to the fist film. Charlies Angels Full Throttle is not a funny movie even though Bernie Mac comes up with some good one liners. The story line kinds of gets lost amongst all the explosions and fight scenes. It's hard to genuinely care about whats happening, and it doesnt make much sense. Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Demi Moore had fun while making this movie. Theyre given over the top characters to play. The three Angels are like James Bond but just the female version they do everything a male actor in a western film would do, ride a horse and have a shoot up in a saloon. There is a scene where the three Angels discuss what Dylan Sanders (Drew Barrymore) was named before she went into the witness protection program. It turns out she was named Helen Zas. Natalie (Cameron Diaz) and Alex (Lucy Liu) make jokes about her name, and Lucy Liu comes up with some good wicked ones, you almost get the idea that she made them up herself. Well I don't want to give the plot away but there are a lot of different locations where the Angels nearly get killed, in Mongolia and elsewhere, while blowing up stuff, shooting people, being shot at. Two new faces appear in this movie Demi Moore as Madison Lee, a rouge Angel and Bernie Mac taking over from Bill Murray in the role of Bosley but as Bosleys brother, who is also called Bosley. To sum it all up the Angels must safety acquire these two special rings that have data stored in them about the identities of the people in the witness protection program and at the same time take down Madison (Demi Moore) So I give the movie stars out of 5 partly because I found the first Charlies Angels to be more believable. So if you enjoyed watching a movie with big stars and a bit of comedy amongst the midst of car chases and explosions the movie for you is Hollywood Homicide which stars Harrison Ford and Josh Harnett. Please note that this sample paper on Charlies Angels - Full Throttle is for your review only. It would have seemed unthinkable that anyone could push a dozen buttons on a handheld instrument and be able to talk with any of billions of people anywhere in the economically developed areas of the world (and many of the poorer areas). Equally ridiculous was the idea that you could look at a box no bigger than a suitcase and see in moving pictures of things happening at that moment in distant lands. Everything is changing. In technology and information age, mass media plays important role in effecting many aspects of society. A wireless worldThe media over which information travel Etelephones, television, films, magazines, internet, newspaper and so forth Eshape the ways ideas take form and spread from one place to another. The media with the strongest impact are radio and television. There are about one billions TV sets and more than two billion radio receivers in the world . The power of these media is to take a single source of information (a moving picture or a voice) and reproduce it in many copies in many locations. Radio reaches the poorest rural areas of the third world. Peasants who cannot read can understand radio. TV is especially powerful. The combination of pictures and sounds affects viewers emotionally and intellectually. Viewers can experience distant events more fully. Television has become a very regular part of our society and more importantly, of our family life

Internet users enjoy having their experiences on the Web customized to their own personal preferences. These users, however, give up their privacy by having their online activities tracked and personal information about them gathered through cookies and other methods. The personal data of users and their online activities is collected and then can be traced back to specific users. A method to protect users privacy has been developed called Managing Anonymity while Sharing Knowledge to Servers (Masks). Masks creates a barrier between users and the websites they are using. This barrier can then control the information that is collected by the website. Masks also keeps third parties from collecting information on the user from links that the user may click on to visit various websites. The article identifies six privacy protection layers Awareness, Control, Privacy-Enhancing Tools, Privacy Policies, Privacy and Trust Certification, and Privacy-Protection Laws. According to the article nothing yet exists to encompass all six layers because some of the layers vary by country. Masks, however, does consist of the privacy-protection layers of Awareness, Control, and Privacy-Enhancing Tools.

Masks allows a user to wear a 'mask' as such in that the user cannot be directly identified, but instead the user appears part of a group that has certain interests and characteristics. The user can then only be traced to this group, which has certain identifiable characteristics. Masks users can wear different 'masks' when visiting different websites so that the user can show different interests and characteristics at any given time. The Masks framework consists of two key components. These components are the Masks server, which is described above and assigns users to groups, and privacy and security agent (PSA). The privacy and security agent (PSA) component allows users to turn 'masks' off and on depending on if the user wishes to allow a website to collect information and associate it directly back to that user. The PSA can also block cookies and Web bugs to protect the users privacy. Masks has six major benefits according to the article. These benefits are privacy protection, partial personalization, safety, transparency, efficiency, and flexibility. Masks is also said to offer interoperability and be easy to use. Masks collects no information about users except a request to a particular website. Masks is a good method for Internet users who want some privacy while still getting personalized service online. The Design Tools subsystem includes tools specific to the design of thedatabase components as well as its applications. These programs includetools to aid in the creation and management of its Tables, Forms, Queriesand Reports. The Run-Time Subsystem is what links the components that were created withthe Tools Subsystem and the data. Our book gives an example of a form thatis supposed to show the information contained in a field within a record ofthe database. When the form is opened, it is the Run-Time Subsystem thatcollects the data from the record and returns the information to the fieldwithin the form. The DBMS Engine is the backbone of the DBMS. It works together with theother two subsystems and translates the request into commands that theoperating system can understand and execute. These include the calculatingof numbers as well as the display of the information to the screen.Four components of database application are its Forms, Queries, Reports andApplication Programs. While the forms, queries and reports can be generatedthrough the Tools Subsystem. The application programs must be created, orwritten, in a language that the DBMS can understand and link to.1. Forms are the graphical user interface between the DBMS and the end user. These forms can be used to display or update the record data informationwithin a database. These updates can include entering new records, deletingor making changes to existing records. Forms make it easier for the enduser to accomplish their desired task without having to understand thedynamics of what they are doing.. Quires are how a user would query the data within a database to return aspecific ordering of the information. An example would be if the userwanted to know all of the names and phones numbers of the restaurants intheir area code but not the addresses. A query would be able to pull thedesired information out of the database tables.. Reports are the outputs of these quires. The data collected from a querycould be exported in a formatted sequence to a computer screen, a file ordirectly to a printer.4. Application Programs are code that is written to interact with adatabase. These programs can be used to update a database or manipulate thedata within them. The Black Death significantly changed the lifestyles of all Europeans. The plagues' outbreak caused countrywide panic and insanity. Whether affected directly or indirectly by the plague, everyone was impacted. European society was weakened and distraught socially, economically and psychologically.

At a time of the disease people became distraught and the social consequences made little relief. Priests monks and nun did in fact care for the sick and bury the dead. Fulfilling their duty as clergy. Even though it did bring somewhat of help it did not relieve the thought of death. Physicians fled only making patients believe in the severity of the plague and their addition to the high mortality rate. Many church personnel died thus leaving some sacraments for the laymen to administer. Civilians then confessed to laymen before death this later causing controversy and reforms within the church. This must have made the most harmful threat in Europe at the time.

The Black Death had a tremendous impact on European economy. Surprisingly, the death of millions of Europeans during the plague outburst paved way for surviving laborers to improve their conditions of employment. Supply and demand in the agricultural expectations drastically changed, causing people to tense and the aristocratic government to lose some of it's power. Because the economy was changing, people lived more luxuriously and that had a large affect on the nature of business and trade. People began questioning the church and whether or not behavior within the church was appropriate. The biggest contribution of the Black Death to society and Europe had to have been the weakening of the feudal system. Times were changing and so were people.

Europeans were not only affected by the plague socially and economically but also psychologically. Since there had been a lot of death around the lives of the Europeans, they kept a pessimistic outlook on life. Europeans sought relief, by taking things to an extreme. Some of them would participate in orgies and gross sensuality. Other Europeans went in the opposite direction and became fanatics of religion. The most lurid group was the flagellants. Flagellants would whip and punish themselves, because they believed that God had punished them with the Black Death for their sins. As you can see society had really been affected by the Black Death.

The psychological must have had the most harmful affect in Europe at the time. People were unstable mentally and many people wanted reforms tremendously. Those who survived the horrific nightmare lived only to see the horrible affects the plague had on their society. Many lived with the fact that one or more of their family members died and many lived in fear that the plague would return. Black Death or not, many after the plague were unable to live their lives leaving only a depressed and culturally robbed Europe.

It was a usual summer day, as I woke up and ran to the bathroom. Then I went downstairs and grabbed a bowl of cereal and the remote control. I ate my peaches n cream oatmeal while watching my favorite television show, Rainbow Brite. Wow! She had to be the bravest girl ever, and she was my childhood hero. Ding-dong, the door bell rang. As I ran to get the door I suddenly felt myself falling down on my face. As I face planted it , I saw the cause. My older brother, Jason, had left his dumb shoes out again! Climbing up, regaining my balance the door rang again, and I yelled, Im coming! I opened the door and saw my best friend, Lacey. Hey Brooke, can you play? Yeah, I have to change my clothes first though. So we went upstairs and met Jason and his friend, Scott, Laceys older brother, at the top of the stairs. We brushed past them and went into my bedroom. I was just opening up my underwear drawer, when the boys burst in. Jason grabbed some of my underwear, revealing to Scott that I wore Rainbow Brite and My Little Pony underwear. I was absolutely mortified at the sight of two boys seeing my underwear and laughing at them. I jumped up, snatched my underwear and shoved the boys out while yelling, Get out, get out you jerks!, and slammed shut the door. How could he do that! raged Lacey.

Yeah, how dare they do such a thing! I exclaimed back at Lacey. Mean while, while Lacey was rambling on about the boys I was thinking revenge! I know, I said, whats better than getting mad is getting even, and Im going to give him a taste of his own medicine! But how? Lacey questioned. Just follow me. I said excitingly. I lead the way to my plan. We marched into Jasons bedroom, and headed straight toward the underwear drawer. We got out every pair. Holy Cow! He wears whitey-tighties? questioned Lacey. Yeah, thats not the worst of it! They are huge and even have a hole in all of them! I said. (Now at this point you have to understand that at seven years old we didnt quite know about these sort of things.) Start tying them together! I ordered. We tied together every pair of those white pieces of cloth, and had a long strand. We dragged it over to his open window and lunged it out, just as the neighborhood babe, Kristen Redford, was walking by and saw the whole thing. She ran off laughing hysterically. Oh, Jason was so in-love with her, and this was working out too perfect. Yep, I knew it! A very out-raged, Jason, red-faced with both embarrassment and anger stormed in, grabbed and tackled me, and beat the living tar out of me. Oh but is sure was worth every bruise and cut! IntroductionTokyo Disneyland, being the most successful Disney Theme Park, was opened in 18. Oriental Land which is Japanese Corporation got franchise from Walt Disney and did a good management work on Tokyo Disneyland. Deeply considered, Oriental Land decided to build DisneySea right next door to Tokyo Disneyland. Some argue that Oriental Land has made a bad decision but some do not. We would analyze the case and have detail discussion in the followings. Background Situation of Japan Economy and Tokyo DisneylandIn fact, Japan¡¦s ailing economy has kicked out a lot of domestic theme parks. Three quarters of them are in dilemma situations. An example was Nagasaki¡¦s Huis Ten Bosch, which has gone bankrupt with liability of ,000 billion yen.

While Tokyo Disneyland has been the Disney Park with the highest daily spending per guest. Even though Japan¡¦s economic downturn has continued in the last two decades, Oriental Land reported that the attendance of Tokyo Disneyland has been raised to the peak in 18. In recent years, however the sales has increased by 15 per cent the net profit has fallen by 15 per cent.Having more than 6 per cent of visitors are domestic Japanese who visit the park repeatedly, Oriental Land has done its best to add value to its Tokyo Disneyland. This time it chose to open a new theme park next to the original one to sustain the market and profit, believing Tokyo DisneySea will act as a catalyst to increase the number of visitors to both parks. What is DisneySea? DisneySea is a $.8 billion joint venture by Disney and Oriental Land. The main purpose of DisneySea is to act as a catalyst to boost up the total visitors of Disneyland in Tokyo. Also due to the recession of Japanese economy, Oriental Land use DisneySea to attract more foreign visitors in order to survive in recent hard environment. DisneySea offer certain unique functions that never appear in Japanese¡¦s theme parks. It contains seven distinct content ocean based theme parks around the Tokyo Bay. Also the market segment and focused customer group are slightly different from original Tokyo Disneyland. DisneySea focus on more mature, male visitors. The park also provide traditional dinner, wine and alcoholic drink which will not be provided in Disneyland. The group expects that the new theme park will provide $15 billion a year in economic activities. From the 5 percent slide of sales in last two years after a 1-year streak of gains and the drastic fall of 5% in net profit, the old Tokyo Disneyland no longer guarantee to be a cash cow. The poor Japanese economy may be one of the reasons, but definitely not the most significant one because Disney had been able to shield itself from Japanese ailing economy in the past 10 years. Old Tokyo Disneyland has already lost her attraction. As a result, Oriental Land is trying to use the new DisneySea to re-establish the premium image of Disney in Japanese¡¦s mind. Please note that this sample paper on Tokyo DisneySea is for your review only. ChokeRobert Raphael GoodmanChoke is a documentary about Rickson (pronounced Hickson) Gracie and mixed martial arts. Rickson Gracie is a Brazilian fighter with a black belt in judo, karate, and jiu-jitsu. He held a record of more than 50 wins with no losses in mixed martial arts competition. In Choke they go into the training of Rickson and his previous matches. The main story though is the tournament he is to go in; where many believe he would have his first loss. Also there are two sub stories about two other fighters who will be in the tournament. After winning that match he got a few minutes to rest until he had to face Rickson. He ended up loosing, but after the match mentioned how he would be interested learning Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.The other sub story is about Koichiro Kimura, a Greco Roman National wrestling champion. He had only participated in shoot fighting matches previously. This was his first time involved in a competition with the rules of Vale Tudo; he too would be involved in the tournament. He ended up losing in the first round to Tom Hayes, but got a second chance when Tom Hayes got injured and decided not to fight. He faced Wayne Emmons in a qualifying match; he beat Emmons by submission (choke), after the match

They go into the story of another fighter who is to be in the Japan Vale Tudo tournament named Tom Hayes. He is named Tom Hayes, a former football player and a kick boxer. He was trying to get enough money to be able to fund himself for lugging in the Olympics. He had a trainer who seemed very confident of him winning. Tom was a strong striker with a lot of power he ended up winning one match at the Japan Vale Tudo tournament. He beat Koichiro Kimura by submission (choke) in the first round of the tournament. But he ended up injuring his shoulder. He decided not to continue also considering his next match was Rickson, plus he had already gotten enough money for lugging. The movie shows Rickson training with his brother Royler Gracie who is also in mixed martial arts competitions. He explains his form of jiu-jitsu, which in the martial arts circuits is known as Rickson Gracie jiu-jitsu. He is also shown training with his father Helio Gracie. They show his last match in his native Brazil against a fighter named Zulu. This was his last fight before going to Japan. He is the winner of the Japan Vale Tudo tournament which the movie focuses on. He wins the tournament by beating Yoshihisa Yamamoto by submission (choke), then Koichiro Kimura by submission (choke), finally Yuki Nakai by (choke). This was a great documentary about mixed martial arts. I personally liked it, specially the matches. Another part that I liked was when Rickson is asked about a match between him and Tyson, he explains how he would beat him. Choke gives an inside view of the mixed martial arts lifestyle through Rickson, probably the best fighter. It also shows how Rickson only 5'10" and 185 lbs beat people way over 00 lbs. Choke also shows two man trying to reach the glory of beating Rickson. Please note that this sample paper on Choke is for your review only. The struggle between good and evil has plagued the world since the dawn of time. This epic battle is also evident in literature written throughout the ages. Three books are to be examined in this essay, each written during distinctly different times. One from the ancient times of the roman empire, another from the growing totalitarian Russian state, and the last from the trenches of World War I. Each book contains in its own fashion a clash of the powers of righteousness and the powers of sin. Evil be it an idea, a object, a person or a people is present in some form in every one of these novels. Malevolence greatly affects the characters, plot and outcome in Erich Remarque's All Quiet on the Western Front, George Orwell's Animal Farm, and Gloria Miklowitz's Masada. In Remarque's war narrative, All Quiet on the Western Front, the dismays of war are chronicled by a German solider named Paul Baumer. As Paul fights in the trenches he comes to grasp the futility and vainness of war. He realizes that war tears families down their most secret seams, it puts friend against friend, brother against brother, and father against son. It cares not of your class, race or ethnicity it will sweep you into its midst's like a tidal wave. War has left him and his fellow soldiers void of sentiment. A pair of well made knee high leather boots begins to takes priority to human life. Paul also grows to appreciate the fact that the people he is trying to kill are no different to him, the only thing that bars their friendship is the fabric of their uniform. "It is strange to see these enemies of ours so close up. They have faces…"(10). War consumes a generation, a generation of lawyers, teachers and farmers. There is but little good to be found in war but Paul becomes Remarque's symbol for hope. If one man, one solider, can grasp the senselessness of war then perhaps more and more men will come to this realization until we live in a world eradicated of violent conflict. George Orwell's seemingly innocent novel Animal Farm, is a parallel to the rise and fall of the totalitarian Soviet state and any other totalitarian state for that matter. At first glance this novel seems to be nothing but a child's tale but when put under close speculation it becomes more then obvious that the happenings of the Manor Farm are more then mere child's tales. The rise of the pig Napoleon to dictator is almost identical to Joseph Stalin's rise in Russia. Orwell uses this book to speak out against the trepidation and oppression that is the backbone of a totalitarian state. As Napoleon rises to power, the farm continues to take turns for the worse. The secret codes set up by the farms founding father are

I strongly disagree with him and 100% agree with Michael Moore who belives that there is a strong connection between the two. How can todays society say they want to prevent school violence, yet they are the parents of these students working in mass destruction factoires. I dont nessicarily think that by having the parents work at the factories that they would give guns to their kids, but it certainly gives the kids an advantage becasue they can hear their parents discussing what goes on at the factory therefore, giving them more knowledge. (.)Although i strongly disagree with the use of guns, I dont think it is a rational thing to say that I think the Second amendment should be in anyway obsolete. America is a very large country and has come a long way in its violence.I think it should have a harder standard on buying a gun and you should only be limited to a cerain amount of guns per household. Some people can have guns in there houses there whole life and never even know how to fire it. Its more of a security issue. People feel safer knowing that they can defend themselves in drastic measures. Back when the nd amandment was first declared, there wasn nearly as much violence as there is now. Also, there wasnt as many other mass destruction weapons.

(.)When young people commit violent acts, Im sure everyone can relate to your parents saying So if all your friends jumped off a bridge, you would to? . In todays society, kids are brought up to not go with the crowd, not care what people think and to find your own inner self. Unforunatly, some kids enjoy violence. Its not the video games, the violent movies, or Marlyn Manson. All those things are just what people try to ignore and then when something like a shooting happends they blame them. I think that Marlyn Manson, although quite scary looking, is a very brave individual, because unlike others, he is willing to go out there and tell people that he is what they are afraid of. He is the fear and anger in every kid that they cant get out. If you ever listen to his lyircs, You would see that they r all these emotions, he just has a different way of interpreting them. You can drill anti - violence thoughts in you kids head all day long, but in the end, kids are going to do what they want to do wether the parents like it or not. (4.)Michael Moore is right. The number of household guns does not necessarily equate the degree of gun violence. I think that the factor that does contribute to the violent nature of society is just plain old curiosity. For most kids, guns are cool to look at. People make such a big deal about it that it obviously makes kids want to see them. If you know a typical kid, you should know that whatever they arent allowed to do is the one thing that they want to do merely because its a normal kids tempting nature. No matter how much you love a child there comes a time you don't want to hold them close to you; it is the time when you realize that you must change your little one diaper. Changing a child's diaper is not something that anyone looks forward to do. At the same time it is a task that all parents must do several times a day. Changing a child's diaper is simple, make sure that you have your daiper, wipes and creams right next to you so that you don't have to go get them at the time you are changing the child's diaper. Now that you have everything ready for the diaper change, all you need to do is get the child to lie down. Once you have the child lying down, loosen the tabs of the diaper, and take a look to see what kind of situation you are dealing with. If the diaper is just wet you have got an easy task. on the other hand, if the child has an atomic bomb, you have and unpleasant task to do. With the front of the diaper that isn't dirty, wipe down from front to back of the child's private region to remove any excess, let's call it "waste" Next fold it over and tuck it under the child's bottom. This keeps the waste from spreading onto the surface the child is laying on. Now with the wipes you need to clean the child's bottom. It is best to wipe downwards from the front to back, make sure that you have gotten the private region clean. Althought applying anti rash cream is optional, i feel it is an important step. Applying the diarper rash cream is a simple task. Smear just a little bit of cream on the tip of your finger and apply the cream all over the child's clean and dry bottom.

College papers on Process essayHow to change a child's diaper

At this point grasp the child's feet with one hand and slightly lift their bottom half up in the air. Quickly slide the new diaper under the child's bottom and set them down on it. make sure that the tabs are in the back. Now fold the front side of the diaper up between the child's legs. Secure the tabs from the back of the diaper onto the chosen strip of the front. Now that your child is done you need to dispose the dirty diaper and wipes. First you need to put all the dirty wipes inside of the dirty diaper and roll it up tight, then close it with the tabs. Next is where to dispose it at, first you m ust choose the appropiate garbage can. If the diaper is just wet you may watn to throw it away in you outside garbage can, to not stink up you home. After you have disposed the dirty diaper you should put the lid back on your cream so it doesn't dry. Now you have accomplish the unpleasant task of diaper changing. Both you and your child aare happy, at least until you have to repeat the same steps again in a couple of hours. Go head and pat yourself on the back, but i suggest you was your hands first. Please note that this sample paper on Process essayHow to change a child's diaper is for your review only. Edna Pointellier is a woman who has followed the rules of her sociery all her life. She was an unthinking child in those days, just following a misleading impulse without question, just as those around her wished her to be (Chopin 1-). When she realises that she is not her own person, she begins a quest to find herself, and in this quest, is alienated from her society. This estrangement only serves to point out the disparity of the female spirit during the Victorian Era and the need for freedom.Like most women of this era, Edna is unable to make decisions for herself without arising suspicion. Her only true act of defiance is choosing to marry Leonce Pontellier, but even he turns out to be a disappointment who closes, the portals forever behind her unpun the realm of romance and dreams and earns her anger from her father and sister Margaret (4). As Edna starts to realise her position in the universe as a human being, and to recognize her relations as an individual to the worth within and about her Ednas father tells Leonce, Authority [and] coercion are what is needed. Put your foot down good and hard; the only way to manage a wife (17, 4). When she starst to make statements about how she could not sacrifice herself for her children, her neighbor claims, a woman who would give her life for her children cound do no more than that -- your Bible tells you so in an attempt to give her a sense of responsibility and family (6). Everything she does is challenged in some way, filling her with an indescribable oppression, which seemed to generate in some familiar part of her consciousness... like a shadow, like a mist passing across her souls summer day and it scares her, she doesnt know what to think (8).Without knowledge of her actions, Edna begins to think and feel as she likes. A good example of this awakening occurs when she first learns to swim. She wanted to swim far out, where no woman has swum before... she would not join the groups in their sports and bouts, but intoxicated with her newly conquered power, she swam out alone (6). This statement could also be construed as a metaphor; she relishes her new emotional freedom, rare to women of the time, and wants to use it. She swims out farther than any woman before her, or, she becomes freer than any woman before her, and is unable to handle the burden of her power. Edna began to feel like one who awakens gradually out of a dream, a delicious, grotesque, impossible dream, to feel ... the realities pressing into her soul and the weight of that reality she could not support on her own (41). This is why she becomes attracted to Alicee Arobin; he provides her with stability, without hindering her or her creativity. Chopin, Kate. The Awakening Essay service for your A Solitary Soul paper

0. The following analysis of the ratio findings will give a direction of where Walgreen's is headed. In debt to ratio, the analysis shows a decrease of 10.4 from 57.8 in 001 to 47.4 in 00. One result of this could mean that Walgreen's may have paid off or paid down some loans. They have decreased the amount of bills that had created. I feel this supports the ROE findings because net income increased which supports that fact that not only did the company sell more in 00, but they also had less to pay in bills, loans, etc.

Looking at the relationship of ROE and profit margin, they seem to support each other very well. Although there were significant improvements in sales, the company still had to contend with bills, loans, etc. The slight increase in net income with the increase in shareholder's equity in 00 caused a slight decrease in ROE. This shows the company could probably do a little better in the sales department. My analysis is that Walgreen's is headed in the right direction. One final analysis shows that inventory turnover and collection period are really low, which means merchandise does not sit very long and when it is sold money is received very quickly.

NIGHTBy: Elie Wiesel People go through events in their life where it is the most unforgettable experience to them. In Night by Elie Wiesel, he writes about a boy who experiences a life in the holocaust where he loses his youth, faith in GOD, and his family. Eliezer had lost his youth being in the holocaust. He went from a teen into an adult so fast. When he first entered the concentration camp, he was just in his early teenage years. "I'm not quite fifteen yet." He said to the German soldier, but the soldier replied with "No. Eighteen." The soldier had ignored hearing that and already he had lost his youth by the soldier. Unlike any other teenager he and other boys had to go through puberty in such bad conditions. Eliezer thought "it was a nightmare… my heart pounding, and find myself back in the bedroom of my childhood, among my books…" He thinks to himself that this is just a nightmare and wishes he could wake up but can't. Here he realizes that he had lost his youth by working in the concentration camps and misses how things were when this event happened.

While losing his youth he also loses his faith in GOD. He loses faith because he wonders why? Why GOD isn't doing anything to stop this unbearable event. Eliezer sees things that are just inhuman to see someone he remembered being "turned into wreaths of smoke beneath a silent blue sky." That just made him wonder why GOD didn't do anything to prevent a thing like that from happening. Seeing that he had just lost his " soul and turned my dreams to dust." Eliezer had lost his interest in everything because he knew that everything wasn't going to get any better. He never meant to lose faith but being in the concentration camps made him think. "I did not deny GOD's existence, but I doubted His absolute justice." Eliezer has that something inside of him that still believes, but there are things that make him believe that GOD isn't doing his job to save people. Being in the concentration camps he loses his family. In the beginning of this intolerable situation he loses a family member already. "…When I parted from my mother… I felt pressure of my fathers hand: we were alone." He had already lost his mother and just knew he was never going to see her or his sister again. Both the father and Eliezer knew that they would have to stick together. But in the end the father had aged a lot. Elie knew that his father wasn't going to make it because of "the officer dealt him a violent blow on the head with a truncheon." He knew from there that his father wouldn't make it. With his father dead he had no one but himself now. In conclusion, Eliezer had lost things that were of importance to him. He had gone through so many things in his experience being in the concentration camp. This has made him more of a man because he had the mentality to think of positive things. Even with all the insightful things he saw, he still managed to get through it. Even with people having unforgettable experience, they too still have that part of themselves to make them stronger because of what they been through. From the beginning, the Nazi Party had campaigned against the Jewish people, but many of the people voting for the Nazis did not think they would act upon these ideas. Even Jewish people had voted for the Nazi Party not believing that the threats would be carried out. However it was evident that the Nazi's intentions for the Jewish people would be acted upon, when within the first few days of taking power, the Nazis boycotted all of the Jewish businesses. Even though little was organised to persecute the Jewish people in the first two years of the Nazi rule, streams of anti-Jewish propaganda were still being produced as it had in previous years. By 15, Hitler had achieved many of his initial aims, and decided that he was now in the position to take action on the Nazi's more extreme measures. He began this by the separation of the Jewish people and the Aryans. From then on the Nazis did all they could to remove the Jewish people from the German society. A boycott of all Jewish shops, lawyers and doctors all over the country left many Jews unemployed. The amount of anti-Jewish propaganda was increased and began introducing the Nazi's new racist ideas. In May 15, Jews were forbidden to join the army, and by September the Nuremberg Laws were passed. This meant that marriages between Jews and Aryans were forbidden, as were sexual relationships outside marriage. The Reich Citizenship Law made Jews 'subjects' rather than citizens, which removed them of many of their rights. In 17, more Jewish businesses were confiscated and Hitler made his first outspoken attack on the Jews in two years. After that, they had to register their property making it easier to confiscate by the police and Jewish doctors, dentists and lawyers were forbidden to treat Aryans. They also had to have their passports stamped with a red letter, 'J'.

On the -10 November 18, many Jews were attacked and huge amount of their property was destroyed. The trigger, which started off a chain of events that night, was the killing of Ernst von Rath, a German Embassy Official in Paris, by a Jew. It is estimated that 400 synagogues and 7500 shops were destroyed, 1 Jews were killed and 0,000 were sent to concentration camps. Initially, the Nazis did not consider the Jews in much detail, as they were still aiming to gain seats at elections, produce propaganda and make promises to voters. However once this had been achieved, they were able to focus their attention on the Jewish people and the more they did so, the more the measure taken on them became extreme. As the Jews were unable to fight back as they did not want to start a war and were greatly outnumbered, there was little they could do as the persecution Please note that this sample paper on How did the Nazi Party treat the Jewish people? is for your review only.
