Hello everyone, and thanks for looking at my Barbarian Guide for Diablo ; this is my first ever attempt at making a guide for a video game, so please bear with me as I offer my insights into the Barbarian class. Before we begin, I would like to say that this guide assumes the reader

College Essays on Diablo II

has a basic familiarity with the game Diablo , LoD, and the terms and conventions used in the game. The guide is also written from a mostly Single Player, Player versus Monster perspective. I have only been playing Diablo for a few months at this point; I have never taken part in any duels, and have only played some limited multiplayer games with friends via TCP/IP. I dont use Battle.Net, and consequently do not have access to the sort of equipment one can find for sale from traders. It is, in fact, for these reasons that I have decided to try writing a guide for Diablo .Many of the other guides and FAQs I have seen for this game are written by people who have played for a long time, who have accumulated riches and ultra-powerful items over that time. Their advice and character builds, to me, reflect this experience and tend to assume an ability to choose from the best items in the game for even newly-made characters. I have no doubts that, for people with the resources to get the equipment recommended, and maybe a rush to get their character up to high levels in a day or two, the guides and FAQs Ive read are very helpful. However, to me, not everyone has the luxuries afforded by playing on Battle.Net, with the multitude of items for sale and the chance to get a character rushed to high level quickly. People like myself, who play Single Player most of the time, dont necessarily have access to all the wondrous items mentioned in these guides. Also, newer players who are just trying out a Barbarian for the first time, going by one of the guides written by more experienced players, may not immediately realize some of the unspoken things these guides do not mention; this is not to say that the writers of the other guides were wrong in leaving out those details - theyve played the game a lot, and such things to them would be so obvious as to not need mentioning. And also, several of the guides I have seen are built for specific types of playing styles - most notably dueling, or magic find runs, both of which are popular styles of play, but which might not be what a newer player is looking for ...I, as a newer player, feel I have a different perspective on the game than people who have played for years by now; I dont have the uber-items at hand and am usually playing with only myself and my lone NPC hireling to face the hordes of demons. I am trying, through this guide, to offer a different perspective than what other guides I have seen have had; to speak to those players who, like myself, are relative newcomers to the game and are wondering how theyll ever attain the demigod-like power of some of Battle.Nets veterans. I cannot offer tips on how to make a Barbarian Godly - but I can offer my experiences in how to make your Barbarian survive the rigors of the battles before him, making use of what you can find simply by playing the game, without trading, and by exploiting your Skills to good effect. And if I say something that makes a veteran look at the Barbarian with a new perspective - well, then Ill know I wrote something good. www.gamefaqs.com Please note that this sample paper on Diablo II is for your review only. What is Foreign Policy?Foreign Policy is a nations' attitude, actions (ie economic sanctions, peacekeeping, military activity) as well as our dealings with other countries (ie trade, immigration, aid, defence) and anything that is directed towards preserving and furthering certain national interests. Foreign Policy seeks to maintain national security, promote economic and trade interests, expand regional and global links, and promote the nation as a good global citizen. Why is FP unique in terms of FP making?Indeed, FP is unique in terms of policy making, largely because it requires little legislation. In essence, governments do not have to face a review of their policy enshrined in legislation in the Senate. Arguably FP may be made with little reference to Parliament as it usually obtains bi-partisan support as recently exemplified by the outstanding Labor Party support for an additional Medicare levy to cover the costs of Australian peacekeeping forces in East Timor. Consequentially, FP is seldom a topic for elections as it does not directly affect the electorate, nor does it gather the same level of community participation or interest as many other policies.

Key features…A 1997 White Paper on Foreign and Trade Policy called 'In the National Interest' is the most important single statement on FP in recent years. It set the guideline for FP according to the National Interest. Implicit in the National Interest is to maintain national security through international diplomacy and readiness to defend the continent and territories against possible armed attack or other aggression, to protect and promote the nation's economic welfare and living standards, which increasingly depend on global economic growth, free international trade and the confidence of global international markets, and to keep our democratic way of life, and our civil and political liberties. A more recent foreign policy priority is the promotion of the nation as an active and responsible global citizen. Success in this area is measured by our response to human rights, terrorism, third world debt, and drug issues. Australia already has a well deserved international reputation because of the work of previous foreign ministers, e.g Bill Hayden and Gareth Evans on human rights. Key players and their roles…Decisions about FP are made by the executive and the bureaucracy making it incompatible with the democracy that Australia is. The government can dominate foreign policy in a way that it cannot dominate domestic policy. The specialised nature of the development, ultimate secrecy and lack of legislative obligations give priority to the executive. For these reasons, Backbenchers, Parliament and the Opposition have a minor role in influencing the development of FP. The close relationship between ministers and the Prime Minister implies that the PM is closely involved in FP making. A PM's particular interests can help shape FP as exemplified by Paul Keating who was a keen free trader and gave priority to relations with the Asia Pacific region. DFAT is responsible for protecting and advancing Australia's National interests by contributing to international security, national and economic trade performance and global cooperation; maintaining consular and passport services to Australian citizens; projecting a positive and accurate image of Australia internationally and enhancing public understanding of Australia's foreign and trade policy. melissa O Please note that this sample paper on Australian foreign policy is for your review only. Part 1 Geography Assessment1) Name the introduced specie? My introduced specie is the rabbit, which I am studying for this assessment.) Where did the species originate? They say that the angora which is the most common type of rabbit came from Ankara, Turkey in Asia minor. Although no one is for sure the name angora is from Ankara because there is the angora cat and angora goat and they all have the same fur.

) (The Map)4) In what year was the species introduced? Why or how was the species introduced? Rabbits are one of Australia's environmental pests. They have been one of the biggest causes to Australia's habitat destruction. They were introduced around 185 and in 1866 only 7 years after they species was introduced they had shot around 14,50 for sport alone.5) In good seasons there may have been one billion rabbits. As 16 rabbits eat as much as one sheep (Short,185), this is equivalent to approximately 60 million sheep and the consequent loss of production. The economic impact of present day rabbit populations is not well quantified but is estimated to be in the order of 0 million dollars in lost production and about 0 million spent on control By directly competing for food and habitat the rabbit has displaced many small to medium size marsupials such as the greater bilby, Macrotis lagotis (now an

endangered species), and the burrowing bettong Bettongia lesueur. Due to selective grazing the rabbit has changed ecosystem composition radically. When an ecosystem is changed, the dependant fauna are displaced by a depeletion in thier required food source and breeding grounds. In its spread across Australia, the rabbit took advantage of pre-existing burrows and evicted various burrowing mammals such as the rufous hare-wallaby Lagorchestes hisutus, the bilby Macrotis lagotis and the burrowing bettong Bettongia lesueur, from their burrows.A colony of rabbits will support a high number of predaters such as feral cat and foxes. These predators put stress on small populations of native mammals.Wildlife were often killed by poisions and traps set for rabbits. Rat-kangaroos, tiger-cats and magpies were some of the species inadvertently effected.

Part Geography AssessmentBiodiversity is all the living things and the importance of biodiversity is that flora finds there own food to be eat by animals and then animals are eaten by humans but the animals would be able to survive with out the flora so it makes a chain. But the meaning of biodiversity is all about all the living things from animals to humans to plants etc. all of them being able to survive in the same environments when all of them are changing the surroundings. A big impact on the Australian biodiversity is that the humans settlers as they have gone from little huts to now a day skyscrapers. They would have had to of killed millions of homes for animals through out Australia which would of effected our biodiversity badly. They should deffinetly stop building houses out of wood and use brick instead. Also use resources that will most likely be recycled in the future so you aren't destroying the animals homes all the time just when ever you want wood. Also with wood when its used for houses its most likely to be eaten up by termites not making it recycable. Although When a tree naturally dies which was a koalas house it can turn into a birds nest. Order your Imagery in Poetry paper at affordable prices with !"After Apple-Picking" is a poem written by Robert Frost. In this poem, Frost uses imagery to an extreme. He takes an ordinary activity, like apple picking, and turns it into an overload for the senses. What makes this poem interesting is that six of the seven senses applied in poetry writing are used. "After Apple-Picking" is a poem for the senses in which the reader can actually see, smell, hear, and feel all the events of apple picking.

The first sense that is described in the poem is visual sense. The reader is initially given a visual image of the set-up the speaker has taken to pick the apples. Lines 1-5 give the reader an initial overview of the apple-picking set-up by describing tallness of the apple tree and how the ladder is poking out through the top of tree. The third line of the poem shows the reader an empty barrel, waiting to be filled by the apples. Frost later uses visual imagery to describe the look of the apples. Lines 1 and 0 describe the apple through visual imagery by stating "Stem end and blossom end, / And every fleck of russet showing clear". This gives the reader an image of the apples' landmarks including the stem and area of blossoming, it also is describing the color of the apple by detailing the small flecks of brown that are shown on the apples' skin.

The next sense described in the poem is olfactory sense. The eighth line of the poem, "The scent of apples I am drowsing off" gives the reader a sense of smelling the apples that have just been picked. By the speaker stating, "I am drowsing off" the reader can get a sense of the apples smelling strong enough to put someone to sleep. The smell of apples can be soothing and somewhat hypnotizing, which then begins putting the speaker to sleep after his long day of apple picking.

Kinesthetic imagery or movement or tension in the muscles or joints is described in line 1. The speaker states that his, "instep arch not only keeps ache," which means that his foot is hurting. It can be assumed that he is feeling this pain because he has been on the ladder picking apples most of the day. The reader is given a better understanding of the pain the speaker is feeling because he uses the word "ache" rather then pain or hurting, which can and may quickly be resolved. An ache, to most people, is an annoyance and something they wish would leave immediately. It is likely that the ache, which is spoken of, is constant and never leaves the speaker.

Lines -6 describe two senses, these being tactile and auditory.

I feel the ladder sway as the boughs bend.

And I keep hearing from the cellar bin

The rumbling sound

Of load on load of apples coming in.

The first line of this excerpt describes the feeling of the ladder moving, as the branches of the tree are being moved by the wind. The next three lines use the auditory sense in which the reader can hear the loads of apples coming into the cellar. The apples are not making a quiet noise; rather they are "rumbling" which gives the sense of a loud noise that may be a bit annoying.

In conclusion Frost does a wonderful job of using imagery in this poem. By using all the senses the reader is given a complete overview of what apple picking is like and how tiring it can be. The tiredness of the speaker is shown through all the senses he is feeling and by the language and tone used in the poem. The reader is given a sensory overload that will stick with them and may be one day they will go apple picking and experience the same senses. In 1787, 55 delegates represented the 1 states at the Constitutional Convention inPhiladelphia. Four questions that was difficult to solve were conflicts over howthe people were to be represented in Congress; what to do about slavery; the powers of thepresident and the procedures for election to the office; and the powers and functions of the

federal courts. After the delegates found a way to solve each of the problem. A committee on styleand revision was assigned in early September to put the final results in language to submit tothe people for ratification. The committee consisted of Alexander Hamilton, Lewis Morris,James Madison, William Johnson, and Rufus King. The framers approved the text of theConstitution on September 15 and 17, all but three of the remaining delegates signed. The Constitution had to be ratified by nine states before it could take effect, andratification nearly failed. Anti-Federalists feared that the proposed Constitution did not protecttheir rights. The supporters of the Constitution was promised to modify the Constitution atthe first opportunity. Delaware became the first state to ratify, on December 7, 1787. It wasfollowed by Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, andSouth Carolina. On June 1, 1788, New Hampshire became the ninth state to ratify, whichmade the Constitution legally effective. Since New York and Virginia didn't ratify, it wasdoubtful the Constitution could succeed. Virginia ratified four days later. New York finallyratified on July 6. North Carolina eventually ratified in 178, and Rhode Island in 170.

Madison was elected to the first Congress. He pushed through a series of proposalsthat became the first ten amendments (Bill of Rights). These amendments protected freedomof speech, press, and religion; guarantee a fair, and speedy trial for people charged ofcrimes; forbid cruel and unusual punishment; and provide many other protections against thegovernment. The states ratified the Bill of Rights in 171

The Most Significant Admenment Could you imagine not being able to say what was on your mind? Could youeven begin to think of following a religion that you don't believe in? In my eyes, thefirst amendment in the most significant to living life of freedom. "President Bush admitted for killing Speaker of the House, Dennis Hastret," thereporter announced. "How can he do that? Sometimes I think he can make the most stupidestmistakes. He's the President! How could he do such a thing!" I exclaimed. As the police officer heard me say those words. He came up to me and put mein cuffs. "What did I do?" I asked. "You made harsh remarks about a higher official." he pointed out, "You have aright to remain silence, whatever you say may be used against you in the court oflaw." For all you know we could all be following,Christianity, Judaism, and maybe even Buddhism. Some people could be in jailfor not following the religion they weren't suppose to be following. Life without thefirst amendment would be rather different, and hard. You would have to definitelyhave to think twice before you say something. You would have to watch what yousay, and hope that nothing slips out. We all would be praising a certain God, thatmost of probably wouldn't believe in. As we all live each day, knowing that we can express our thoughts. We should alltake the time to think about how our live would change dramatically if we didn't havethe first amendment. We are so lucky to have the freedom of speech, religion, press, and assembly. Please note that this sample paper on I don't have one is for your review only.
